Hastings Magistrates Court Jan 9 to Jan 15, 2019
Two offenders well known to Hastings ShopWatch members have recently appeared in court.
Daniel Barber, 31, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to stealing four packs of Gilette razors worth £100 from Boots at Hastings on July 30. He was given a six-month conditional discharge.
Patrick Reville (pictured), 53, of Hatherley Road, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to stealing a slow cooker worth £27 from Chef Ware at Queens Road, Hastings. He also admitted being in breach of a conditional discharge, made by an earlier court for an offence of theft from a shop. The court made a community order with a drug rehabilitation requirement and ordered him to pay £27 compensation.
